The Latter Glory Assembly, founded by Pastor Noel Rufus on July 3, 2011, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The week-long celebration commenced on Monday at the church's premises located at 3B, Peter Salami Street, Omoleye Bus Stop, Ogijo, Ogun State.

According to the founder, Pastor Rufus, the anniversary celebration features several activities, including a free medical outreach scheduled for Saturday, July 25. The outreach will offer free medical check-ups, medications, treatment, and medicated eyeglasses to members of the public.

The grand finale of the anniversary celebration and thanksgiving service will hold on Sunday, July 26, with the theme, "The Able God." To make the celebration spiritually impactful, several ministers of the Gospel have been invited to minister throughout the programme.

The guest minister for the thanksgiving service is the founder and Senior Pastor of Restoration of Holiness Assembly, Pastor Lawrence Omokhau, who will minister alongside the host, Pastor Noel Rufus.

Other ministers expected to participate during the week-long celebration include Pastor Peter Uwadone of Fresh Impact Network International, Pastor Joshua Leisure of Capacity Builders Apostolic Network, Bishop Florence Mobolanle Daniel of His Gift of Grace Ministry, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Pastor Emmanuel Ihejirika of The Transforming Word Assembly, and Pastor Isaac Omogbai of Quality Praises, who will minister in songs and worship.

Reflecting on the church's journey, Pastor Rufus disclosed that Latter Glory Assembly held its first service in July 2011 with just five people in the sitting room of his residence. The pioneer congregation comprised himself, three of his younger brothers, and his landlady's eight-year-old daughter.

He noted that since its inception, the church has maintained uninterrupted weekly activities and Sunday worship services, beginning with Sunday School.

According to him, the church experienced steady growth as members testified to miracles, including healings from kidney and liver-related ailments, as well as deliverance from various forms of bondage, including cases of mental illness.

As the congregation expanded, the church encountered the challenge of inadequate worship space. Services were temporarily moved outside the house, but during the rainy season, worshippers had to return indoors.

Pastor Rufus likened the church's experience to the journey of the children of Israel in the wilderness, explaining that the ministry moved from one location to another before God provided a permanent place of worship.

"The Good Lord finally gave us a permanent place of worship, which we acquired in 2023 and moved into on January 10, 2024," he said while speaking with Successful People Magazine.

Over the years, the church has recorded several milestones, including numerous child dedication services and naming ceremonies.

Pastor Rufus added that construction of the church's permanent headquarters is currently ongoing, even as the ministry celebrates its 15th anniversary.
