Nigeria Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Monday morning left Abuja for Moronvia, , to join other Africa leaders in celebrating Liberia's bicentennial anniversary.


Prof Osinbajo will be at Samuel K. Doe Stadium to represent Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari to open the country's 200years of nationhood.


In Osinbajo 's entourage are the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubeiru Dada and the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters, Adeyemi Dipeolu.


The Vice President will also attend other events in Moronvia, as part of the national celebrations later in the day, according to the press statement issued by the Media Adviser to the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande.

  Osinbajo will return to Nigeria on Tuesday, February 15.


Liberia was founded in 1822 for the relocation of freed black people from the United States of America to Africa.


The nation later gained her Independence on July 26, 1847.
