In a statement released to journalists on Saturday, the Yayi Movement Convener described the APC as a party experiencing renewed growth and consolidation under the leadership of President Tinubu. He praised the emergence of the new national executives, expressing confidence in their ability to steer the affairs of the party toward greater national relevance.

He further commended President Tinubu’s leadership style, describing it as exemplary and worthy of emulation by progressive-minded groups across the country.
“I commend our dear President and leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for a job well done. Baba is indeed a great leader, and his leadership style remains a model we proudly emulate as a progressive movement in Ogun State today,” he added.

“I cannot end this heartfelt felicitation without commending our leader and father in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who has continued to pilot the affairs of our party with wisdom. What we are witnessing in Ogun State today is exemplary, particularly the movement of opposition members in the Ogun State House of Assembly into the APC,” he stated.
He equally lauded the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Oludaisi Elemide, as well as other national delegates who participated in the party’s 8th National Convention held at Eagle Square, Abuja, expressing optimism about the party’s future.
In a similar vein, the State Coordinator of the Yayi Progressives Movement, Hon. Olusegun Kaka, celebrated the successful conduct of the convention and the growing unity within the party.
“This is another great moment of celebration for our party, particularly in Ogun State, where opposition members joined us at the Abuja convention.
