At 55, Aare (Victor) Kolade Segun Okeowo, popularly known as KSO, exemplifies what it truly means to live a life of purpose, influence and measurable impact. A veteran drama evangelist, media entrepreneur, marriage counsellor, agribusiness investor, real estate developer and politician, his multi-sector contributions have shaped lives, institutions and communities across Nigeria for over three decades.

Early Life and Academic Excellence

Born on January 26, 1971, in Sagamu, Ogun State, Aare Segun Okeowo is the son of the late Akogun Segun Okeowo, a historic figure in Nigeria’s 1978 Ali-Must-Go students riot.

From an early age, excellence defined his path. He attended Mayflower School, Ikenne, where he emerged Best Arts Student (1986), winning the Dr. Tai Solarin Award for Excellence.

At just 15, he gained admission into Olabisi Onabanjo University, graduating with a BA (Hons) in History in 1990 and completing his National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, programme at age 20.




From Diplomacy to Drama Evangelism

While pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State,  a life-changing spiritual encounter in 1992 redirected his destiny from diplomacy to ministry. Inspired by the works of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, KSO embraced drama evangelism as a powerful tool for societal transformation.

In 1993, he founded Christoline Ministries, which has since become one of the top leading force in Christian film and drama evangelism in Nigeria.



Creative Impact and Media Legacy

Aare Segun Okeowo who has just produced another Christian movie that is trending now on YouTube channel titled: "Kuti", has produced over 45 films. He has also featured in more than 100 movies and directed several others.

He is the Director of the family-life TV series House on the Rock, aired on AIT, TVC, STV, LTV, Dove Vision and other platforms, and the Producer of the Couples Reality Show, Beyond the Honeymoon.



Institution Builder: Film Academy & Film Village

In 2000, he established the Christoline Film Academy, which has trained over 600 Christian filmmakers.

His visionary leadership later birthed Zionstones Film Village, founded in 2010 at Simawa, Ogun State, Nigeria’s first Christian Film Village, solving long-standing production challenges for faith-based filmmakers.




Marriage, Family and Social Influence

Married to Princess Sunmbo Segun-Okeowo (Yeye Aare) since January 20, 1996, their union has become a reference point for Christian marriage mentorship.

Their family-based initiatives now support couples and singles through counselling, workshops and television programming.

Political Participation and Community Leadership

A strong advocate of responsible governance, KSO founded Believers in Politics, encouraging Christians to engage actively in public leadership. He has contested elections, served in party leadership roles, and remains an influential grassroots politician.
