The Methodist Church Nigeria, Egba Diocese, has commended the Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA) for its efforts in keeping the state clean through effective waste management.

In his State of the Nation and Ogun State Address at the 43rd Annual Synod, Bishop Most Reverend Dr. Adegbemi Adewale praised OGWAMA's operational units for their commendable work. He urged the authority's staff and management not to rest on their laurels.

To maintain the clean environment, Most Reverend Adewale called on residents to containerize their waste and avoid indiscriminate dumping on roadsides, drainage channels, and public places. He also urged market traders to regularly clean their environment and dispose of waste properly according to OGWAMA's regulations.
