Biden wants US Senate continue Trump's impeachment and other urgent business...That can't happen untill Trump leaves office, says Senate Majority Leader

By Charles Segun Adegbite
US President-elect Joe Biden has expressed hope that the Senate will complete the Impeachment process of President Donald Trump, which the House of Representatives carried out Wednesday.
In a tweet @JoeBiden, he said,

"Today, in a bipartisan vote, the House voted to impeach and hold President Trump accountable. Now, the process continues to the Senate—and I hope they’ll deal with their Constitutional responsibilities on impeachment while also working on the other urgent business of this nation."

Meanwhile, the Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, a Republican, has said it's not possible for the Senate to continue with the impeachment and conclude before the end of Trump's tenure next week.
In a tweet he sent via his Twitter handle, attached below is the full message.
Trump was impeached yesterday by the US House of Representatives, led by the Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and other Democrats, with the support of ten Republicans in the House who voted in favour of his impeachment over his alleged roles in the riot carried out by his supporters at the Capitol Hill last week Wednesday.
It was the second time of impeaching him within his term of office, making him to be the first American President to be impeached twice and the fourth president ever impeached in America history.
