That woman is Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji, an accomplished technocrat, seasoned politician, education advocate, philanthropist, and a rising political force in Nigeria.

She has just won the election into the House of Representatives for Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency held on Saturday August 16, 2025, as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), thereby bringing a refreshing blend of competence, integrity, and passion for  community development and national legislation.

Princess Elegbeji’s academic path is as formidable as her leadership journey. She began with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), and then broadened her intellectual horizons in the United Kingdom:

M.Sc. in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London, specializing in Business Change and Organisational Transformation

M.Sc. in Intelligent Management Systems from South Bank University, London
