Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel on Thursday mourned the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who died in the early hours of the day.
Otunba Daniel told Successful People Magazine in a telephone interview,“His excellency, Gov Ajimobi was a thorough bred professional before he became the governor of Oyo State.
“He made his mark, not just as a governor but a professional in oil industry. It is unfortunate that we lost him at this point in time . ” Daniel said.

He expressed concerns that the former senator died at the time Nigeria needed his wealth of experience the most.
He prayed for the soul of the deceased and said, “We mourn his death and pray that God, in his infinite mercy will grant him al Jannah Firdaus.
“I commiserate with his family and the people of Oyo State and our dear country, Nigeria, in general, ” he added.
