Awujale Throne Tussle: Ajidagba Rallies Fusengbuwa Descendants, Welcomes New Members With Call for Unity.

Prince Adedokun Ajidagba, the Olori-Ebi of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, has intensified his rally for unity among descendants of the royal lineage. On Sunday, he hosted a special family gathering at the Ile-Nla Compound, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, where new members were formally welcomed into the forum amid renewed calls for solidarity.
The development came barely 24 hours after a factional head of the family, Alhaji Abdullateef Owoyemi, addressed journalists at his Idowa-Ijebu country home, dismissing Ajidagba’s claim to the throne and positioning himself as leader of the Fusengbuwa.
In a counter move, Ajidagba urged members to remain united and focused on their collective aspirations. He emphasized that the strength of the Fusengbuwa lineage lies in its shared commitment, prayers, and togetherness.
“I want to assure our members to remain calm. Our family is united, and no one should pay attention to distractions. We are winning this together,” Prince Ajidagba declared.
“We have reminded them of their history and shown them where they belong. Fusengbuwa is a large royal house, but we at Ile-Nla Compound know ourselves.” He added
Commending Ajidagba’s leadership, Prince Olaseni Ottun described him as an exemplary figure who has consistently displayed an uncommon sense of leadership at every level.

Also speaking, Prince (Engr.) Okeowo Olusoga, a descendant of Jadiara of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, encouraged members to remain steadfast under Ajidagba’s leadership.
“Our team shall bring peace to Ijebuland. We are not here to play. We know our origin, and we have capable hands to represent us. I appeal to all qualified family members to stand firm with this team under the leadership of Prince Ajidagba. Together, we shall reach the promised land,” he said.
Successful People Magazine gathered that, to further assert the legitimacy of his leadership of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Ijebu-Ode, Prince Ajidagba placed a full-page advertorial in The Punch newspaper of Sunday, September 8, 2025, publishing all relevant documents affirming his claim.
The meeting ended on a strong note of solidarity, as members pledged continued support for the Olori-Ebi, Prince Ajidagba, and reaffirmed their commitment to the unity of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.
