SAGAMU, OGUN STATE 

Traditional rulers and top government officials from Ogun East senatorial district, including the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, and the Ologijo of Ogijo, Oba Kazeem Gbadamosi, are set to attend the official inauguration of the Remo and Ijebu Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) on Wednesday, May 29, 2025.

The high-profile event, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Hilltop Hotel in Sagamu, will also see the attendance of local government chairmen from across the Remo and Ijebu Divisions, reinforcing the chapter’s strong regional backing.

The inauguration, themed “The Role ûof HR in Promoting a Healthy Work Life,” marks a major expansion milestone for CIPM in Ogun State. It will be hosted by the chapter’s pioneer chairman, Prince Adeboye Enoch Akinde.

HR professionals, private sector leaders, and public administrators are expected to attend, with immediate past CIPM President, Mr. Olusegun Mojeed, delivering the keynote address on the strategic role of HR in enhancing workplace wellbeing and productivity.

Other notable dignitaries expected include the Ayanperuwa of Sotubo, Oba Muyideen Oluseyi Ogunsola; the Oba Orimadegun I of Araromi Sagamu, Oba Solomon Adegboyega Oguntade; Ogun State CIPM Chairman, Mrs. Oladuni Olusola Adetona, as Chief Host; and the Registrar/CEO of CIPM, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Naiwo, as Special Guest of Honour.

With the Remo and Ijebu Divisions serving as a hub for industrial and commercial activity in Ogun State, the new chapter is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening human capital development and organizational excellence in the region.
