Emulating The Sacrificial Love Of Christ: A Call To Women Of Africa And The World
As the world celebrates Easter—the triumphant resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ—I extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to women across Africa and the global community.
Easter is not only a season of joy and renewal, but also a profound reminder of the sacrificial love, forgiveness, and grace embodied by Jesus Christ. He gave His life selflessly, not for fame or recognition, but out of pure love for humanity—even for those who persecuted Him. His resurrection is a victory over despair, a triumph of love over hate, and a call to rise above our trials with hope and strength.
As women, we carry within us the extraordinary ability to love, to nurture, to endure, and to lead. In the spirit of Easter, I encourage every woman to reflect Christ’s example by embracing a life of purpose, sacrifice, and compassion. Let us choose forgiveness over resentment, service over self-interest, and unity over division.
In our homes, our communities, and our nations, let us become instruments of peace and pillars of hope. Whether as mothers, professionals, entrepreneurs, or leaders, we are called to shine as light in the darkness, giving of ourselves for the betterment of others—especially the vulnerable and the voiceless.
This Easter, I pray that every woman will be strengthened by the power of resurrection. May your lives be filled with joy, good health, divine protection, and the grace to celebrate many more Easter seasons in fulfillment and peace.
