Ogun LG elections: Abiodun votes, express satisfaction over conduct of the poll.

The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has declared the local government elections held on Saturday across the state as peaceful and satisfactory.
He stated this in an interview with journalists immediately after casting his vote at Polling Unit 002, near his family compound at Ita Orangun, in Iperu Ward 3 in the Ikenne Local Government Area of the State.
" I want to appreciate the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission for their level of preparedness for this election.
"The feedback I have gotten is that they have been very thorough . They have been very diligent. However in any election, you can not rule out some logistics hiccups." He said.
The governor explained that he has been informed that the logistics challenges have been overcome because the election materials have reached every nook and cranny of the state and voting has commenced in earnest before he came out to vote.

He as well hailed the turnout of voters for the exercise, pointing out that this implies people’s confidence and the assurance that their choices, as expressed during voting, will tally with the results.
He acknowledged the presence and collaborative efforts of the men and women of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Civil and Security Defense Corps, the State Department of Security Services, and the Amotekun.
The Governor then commended the collaborative efforts of all these various security agencies in the State towards ensuring the success of the election.
