Elon Musk Beats Bernard Arnault As Richest Man In The World

Elon Musk, Chairman/CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, X(Twitter), among others, who was the richest man in the world before Bernard Arnault, Chairman/CEO of luxury goods giant LVMH overtook him as of April 4, 2023, has bounced back as the richest person in the world as at Tuesday 12 December, 2023.
According to Forbes rankings, Musk came first from his second richest position as his net worth rose from $180B as at April 4, 2023, to $241.3B as at December 12, 2023.
Arnault on the other hand, whose net worth as at April 4, 2023, was $211B, dropped to $195.4B as at December 12, 2023, and consequently fell to world's second richest position.
While Musk reportedly became poorer than he was in 2022 when he was the world's richest; with the lost of $2.1B as at December 12, 2023, Arnult crashed with the loss of $1.6B as at same time he ranked second richest.
