Ministerial List: "Pray for President Tinubu",
Sen. Bamidele tells Nigerians.

...For him to make the right decision in choosing his ministers

The Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele has urged Nigerians to intercede for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in prayer urgently, for God to help him in choosing the right people in forming his cabinet.

Bamidele, Nigeria No.3 senator made the clarion call on Tuesday while speaking during his 60th birthday anniversary lecture and public presentation of his two new books on leadership and communication.

President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima were expected to unveil the two books for public presentation according to earlier reports and public statement from Bamidele's media center.

While speaking on the reason the president could not attend the event, Bamidele disclosed that he (Tinubu) called him over the phone Tuesday morning to felicitate him on his birthday and told him that he would not be able to attend the birthday ceremony.

"Let me tell you, I will not be available for the next 48 hours because a correspondence must come to the Senate, a very crucial correspondence." Bamidele quoted the president as saying.

According to Bamidele, 'Mr President prayed for me. He said we should tell the rest of Nigerians to pray for him to be able to make the right decision within the next 24 hours, "so that when Nigerians hear the list of my ministers, they will say yes, this is uncommon" and join us to pray for Mr President. He needed to be away from any kind of influence' Bamidele explained.

From the statement it is obvious that the president was facing a lot of pressure apparently from those lobbying for appointments and he needed prayer for God to help him in choosing the right people who will help his administration to succeed.
