At last, abducted Ekiti Monarch regains freedom

...As inability to pay N5m ransom keeps Seven Day Adventist Church female member in kidnappers den.

Ekiti State Command of The Nigeria Police, has confirmed the release of abducted Ekiti monarch, the Eleda of Eda Ile-Ekiti, HRM Oba Benjamin Osho by his abductors.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti by the Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), ASP Sunday Abutu, said the monarch who was abducted last Thursday was left off the hook on Sunday (Yesterday) evening.

Meanwhile, a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church, Mrs Yemisi Ijatuyi who was abducted recently was still in the kidnappers den as at the time of sending this story.

Families and friends of the victim have continued to make relentless efforts to secure her release.

Successful People Magazine gathered that the abductors were said to have insisted on five million naira ransom.
