Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Tertiary Education, Professor Joseph Sunday Odemuyiwa brought succor  to poor women and the aged in his Remo North Local Government Area of the State via distribution of food items to them.

The supplementary packages which he distributed personally to each beneficiary were: rice, eggs, semovita and noodles, all packed in bags.

It was part of his efforts to supplement the palliatives from the State Government to bring succor to the needy who have been suffering since the Stay-At-Home order was given by the Federal and State governments.

The FG and Ogun State government had announced the total lockdown to contain the spread of the corona virus, tagged COVID-19 pandemic.

Odemuyiwa carried out this palliative project through the Baanu Life Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization founded by him in 2018 in memory of his late mother.
