The Palace Hall was filled with the crème de la crème of Remoland and other guests who assembled there on strict invitations.
The club started the Royal banquet series in the night of December 7, 2017, after the coronation of the Akarigbo earlier that day, to give the monarch a befitting reception.

Former Governor Gbenga Daniel was given a special assignment of presenting award plaques to the awardees.
Awards were presented to three distinguished Remo indigenes as part of the activities scheduled to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the club. Nigeria Industrial giant and former National Vice President of NACCIMA, Asiwaju S.K. Onafowokan was honoured with Remo Global Citizen-Of-The-Year Award.
A university don and an ICT expert, Prof Adewunmi Ogunbase of the University of Tampere, Finland, was also awarded Remo Distinguished Personality 2019.
