Veteran cinematographer, Dr Tunde Kelani of Mainframe Productions, could not hide his feelings of excitement as President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the John Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos on January morning.

For him, and many preservationists of Yoruba Culture and tradition, it was a long awaited beffiting home for Yoruba Culture, in a Lagos State landmark project delivered by Governor Babajide Sanwo - Olu.

To drive home his points and excitement in a private chat with the Editor/Publisher of Successful People Magazine, Uncle TK, as he is fondly called, said, "Yorùba ò lè parun'"; meaning, Yorùbá can never go into extinction.

Apart from making such award winning movies like: Saworoide, Koseegbe, Ole Ku, Arugba, Ti Oluwa N'ile, "Maami", Agogo Eewo, The White Handkerchief, Magun(Thunderbolt), Campus Queen e.t.c. Uncle TK has been a strong advocate for the preservation of Yoruba Culture and promoter of Africa cultural values, artistes and legends.

Such promotional and preservation works include the making of Ayinla, postmortem celebration of Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, the collaboration activities on Yoruba World Congress, YWC, among others.
