Obasanjo donates 85 Keke Marwa (tricycles) to youths across Nigeria to mark 85 birthday

To prove that leadership is all about sacrifice former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has donated 85 Keke NAPEP (tricycles) to young people across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, as part of activities marking his 85th birthday.
In his remark on Saturday, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, at an event tagged “OBJ @85 Free Keke Programme,” where the tricycles were distributed to beneficiaries, Chief Obasanjo urged Nigerian youth not to lose hope or abandon the country to those who are currently messing it up.
The tricycles were donated through the Youth Development Centre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) with the beneficiaries drawn from the 36 states and the FCT.
Chief Obasanjo explained that despite many challenges confronting Nigeria, there are “opportunities galore” for the younger generation to take advantage of.
He also charged them to rise up to the task of making needed contributions towards addressing numerous challenges of the nation.
Obasanjo left office as president of Nigeria 15years ago (2007) but has not stopped playing active roles of an elder statesman since then.
