The National President of the National Council of Women Society, NCWS, Dr Gloria Laraba Shoda has described the death of Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile, as very sad and painful.
Arotile, 24, died on Tuesday of head injuries sustained after a former school friend accidentally reversed into her while she was trying to greet her.
Mrs Soda, while mourning the late pilot, said all of them at the NCWS felt the pain and were very sad when they received the news.

“The news of her death was shocking. It was indeed very sad that a very brilliant and brave young lady like this could just die like that. We would all remember her for good for a long time.
“I pray that God will let her rest in The peace and give her bereaved families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” She added.
