10 Bad Experiences That Changed Buhari And Make Him Stronger

 "Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do" is the title of a life changing book published in 1983 by that Great American motivational writer and clergyman, Robert H. Schuller.
    The life of Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari, like many top leaders and successful people, is full of ups and downs, and depicted    the content of this book.
   Here are 10 notable negative experiences he got from childhood till now, that have transformed him from that little Daura boy to who he is today.
1. His father, a Fulani chief, Hardo Adamu, died when he (Muhammadu) was about four years old. He was 23rd of his father's children; raised by his mother, and started struggling for survival very early in life.
2. He was overthrown in a palace coup, as Nigeria Head of State in August 27,1985(after one year and seven months in office).
3. Detained for three years in Benin after his removal as head of state. He was kept in a house and denied access to people except few family members, approved by President Ibrahim B. Babangida. CLICK TO READ
