ARCW Regional President, Dr Gloria Shoda mourns Chief Dame Adebutu, commiserates with Kessington Family

The Regional President of African Regional Council of Women, ARCW, and Board member of International Council of Women, ICW, Dr Gloria Laraba Shoda has commiserated with Nigeria business mogul, Sir Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu over the death of his wife, Chief Dame Oladunni Adebutu.

In her condolence message Dr(Mrs) Shoda also consoled the son, Hon Oladipupo Kessington Adebutu and the entire Adebutu family, and urged them to take solace in the fact that the matriarch of the Adebutu Dynasty of Iperu Remo, lived a fulfilled life.

She described the deceased as a great woman and good mother who stood behind her husband and made a lot of impacts while she was alive.

 According to Mrs Shoda, who also holds some chieftancy titles in Remoland, "I believe her charitable life and contributions in many ways, both at home as a wife, mother and grandmother, and to humanity generally, created rooms for the bestowment of chieftaincy titles on her and the series of honours she got from different places, while she was alive.

 "She was the Yeyeoba of Odogbolu, Yeyemode of Iperu, who left good legacy behind for her children, among who is a governorship candidate", she pointed out.

"Mrs Adebutu, by supporting her husband, raising worthy children and impacting the society, was a symbol of some of the things we, at the Africa Region of the International Council of Women, ICW, and National Council of Women Societies, NCWS, advocate and stand for in Africa and Nigeria respectively". She disclosed.

 

According to Mrs Shoda, "Her good contributions and heart of kindness would keep her alive in the minds of those who she affected their lives positively.

  " I urge our referred Sir Kesington Adebutu, to summon courage and accept the demise of his wife, who he has lived together with for many decades, as God's act, which can't be annulled or reversed." She said.

   Dr Shoda admonished the children and grandchildren to take solace in the fact that the Matriarch of the Adebutu Dynasty, had come into this world, fought battles of life and won many of them without leaving bad legacy behind, before departing to rest with her maker.

 She then prayed that God would grant the entire family the fortitude to bear whatever disheartening agony the death has brought to every bereaved member of the Adebutu Dynasty.
